This Hagen family migrated in two
separate small groups from Oslo, Norway. Two of the children
immigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1872 and the remaining four (parents
and two children) emigrated Norway in 1874, arriving in Monroe County,
Wisconsin. Erick and Randi and their family ultimately settled in Pope
County, Minnesota. The majority of the Hagens in this line either
stayed in this area of Minnesota, or migrated to North Dakota.
