MESA, Ariz.  The memorial service was Monday in St. Peter Lutheran Church, Mesa, for James William Lindy Holum, 78, Mesa, formerly of Rolla and Walhalla, who died Saturday, June 24, 2006, in Mesa.

He was born July 8, 1927, to Elmer and Clara Holum in St. John. He served in the Army Air Forces in Washington, D.C. He married June Ryyth Sept. 16, 1951, in Rolla.

Survivors: wife; sons, Rodney, Salt Lake City, Brent, Kansas City, Mo.; daughter, Jan Allard, Burlington; six grandchildren; sisters, Millicent Booen, of Pennsylvania, Corrine Olson, Anchorage, Alaska, Eloise Hagen, Libby, Mont.; brother, Verlin. (National Cremation Society, Phoenix)
