FLINT, Grace Yvonne
(Age 72)

Grace was laid to rest on August 26, 2007 in Spokane, WA. She was born in Purth, North Dakota on March 4, 1935, to Winfield J. and Freida Ward. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Frank H. Flint, son Frank W. Flint, her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Grace and Frank raised their six children in Spokane and later moved to Davenport, WA. Grace worked at Lincoln County Hospital until her retirement in 1992.

Grace is survived by two sons, David Flint and his children, Frank and Jessica; Dan (Jeanne) Flint and their children, Ryan, Christina and Andrea; three daughters, Donna Flint, her son Matthew and great-grandson Ayden; Linda (John) Childs and their daughter Angel Aviles; Doreen (John) Allen and their sons, Jacob and Luke; two stepdaughters, Christine (Tony) Jacobs and Darlene (David) Smith and their families. 

Grace was devoted to and will be greatly missed by her family and many close friends. Grace will be remembered by all for her self-sacrificing spirit and her generous and kind nature. Her kitchen was always open to her family and friends. Even though Grace suffered many hardships in her life, she was able to leave an inheritance of loving strength, endurance and a great love of life to her children. Grace was content with the simple things in life. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8th, 1:00 pm at 9702 E. Nora Ave, Spokane, WA.
